This presentation will cover astrophotography around Scotland and how to photograph all celestial events.  It will cover what is in the night sky and how to predict events.  The main categories being: Moon, Milky Way, Northern Lights, Noctilucent Clouds, Meteor Showers, ISS Transits, Lunar Eclipses, 360Panoramas, Time Lapses and Star Trails.  Andrew will detail some personal adventures from trips abroad such as Norway, Iceland and Tenerife

07/01/27 Talk (In-Person): Winter Photography
A guide to the beauty of Winter for landscape photography.  In this talk Eddie explores why he finds the Winter months produce his most satisfying landscape images.  He begins his journey in Surrey where snow is rare so instead he shows us how to work with other elements such as frost, mist and fog to create atmospheric images without having to travel far.  He then moves progressively further afield in search of more snowy environments.

This session comprises two presentations.  The first is “Multi-exposure Architectural Abstracts” and shows how in camera multi-exposures can be processed to produce a final semi-abstract image.  The second is “Working with Self Created Backgrounds” and demonstrates how to create your own backgrounds for lay flat images, how to assemble things and how to work on your final image.
